Observation and Assessment

Evaluation staff collect data to monitor closely the performance of UTEN workshop, conference, and training activities. In addition quantitative data is being assembled about Portuguese technology transfer office activities and qualitative information is being developed about progress with emerging technologies and spin-out companies.

This information will be highlighted in a series of case studies prepared by UTEN program staff. In conjunction with these activities, UTEN staff assist with scholarly research related to all aspects of technology commercialization and advance the state of the art through research publications in top-tier academic journals.
