Heath Naquin
Heath Naquin is the co-founder and COO of the Green Technology Alliance (GTA). The GTA is the first green technology initiative to focus on building implementable solutions that offer real business benefit– to every sector of the industry. At the GTA Heath is responsible for start-up, entrepreneurship, innovation and commercialization initiatives across the alliance. Mr. Naquin is a frequent speaker at industry and vendor-sponsored events on the topics of Green Technology Innovation and Commercialization as an organizational transformation model.
Heath has worked on international commercialization initiatives in countries such as Chile, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, Egypt and India. He has served as an advisor to start-up companies and technology incubators laying developing strategic plans for operational success across the globe. Mr. Naquin regularly serves as a commercial reviewer of SBIR/STTR grant proposals with the National Science Foundation. He has successfully orchestrated early stage international technology licensing agreements with Fortune 500 companies such as Siemens, Costco and Glaxo-Smith-Kline. His expertise in Project Management, Green Technology, Clean Energy, Innovation and International Commercialization has been featured in such publications as Forbes, the Austin Business Journal, Microsoft Network and PMI’s Project Management Magazine.
Since 2006, the founders of the GTA have been developing and supporting an alliance of companies in the green, clean and sustainable space. In 2008, the GTA was launched to provide the support, resources and venues that build and grow both existing technologies and emerging technologies in Green, Clean and Sustainability. The GTA has grown from 400 GTA supporters at the time of our launch to over 2000 representing 8 countries and over 900 organizations.
Through the GTA businesses of all sizes are driving results across the business value spectrum; including; achieving greater operational and cost efficiencies, target revenue goals, higher customer satisfaction and mutually beneficial partnerships. Mr. Naquin focuses on helping identify and grow the technologies and startups necessary that can deliver an immediate value to the companies that invest in sustainability; such as reduced costs, improved efficiency and greater productivity.
