Eli Mercer – UTEN Austin Consultant. Expert on Technology Commercialization, Global Startup
and Expansion, Business Intelligence/Competitive Analysis)

Dr. Steve Nichols - Professor of the College of Engineering. Former Associate Vice President
of Research at UT-Austin as well as founder and director of the Idea2Product Competition
held annually at UT-Austin and focused on getting technology out of the idea phase and into a
sellable, valuable product

10:15 – 11h15 AM – Action Business Planning
Darius Mahjoubi - Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at UT-Dallas and at
the St Edwards University in Austin, and a research associate at the IC2 Institute

11:15 – 11:30 AM - Coffee break

11:30 AM – 12:30 PM – The formation of capital
Laura Kilcrease - Founding Director of Austin Technology Incubator, successful entrepreneur,
and current Managing Director of Triton Ventures, a VC firm specialized in enterprise
software, ICT and advanced materials)
