Day 1: Morning
*Overview of core ideas and structure of workshop
*Identify your definition of a favorable outcome for a negotiation, core licensing practices of your institution, and stakeholder groups involved in licensing and negotiations
* Negotiation fundamentals (including simulation and role play exercise)
* Preparing for the negotiation

CLOSED Session

Day 1: Afternoon - Introductory session to cases, exercises, and materials for TTO’s
*Form groups and begin in depth work on subject matter
* Communications and negotiations to enhance relationship building
*Analyze first case study on licensing and prepare for day 2 of program

Day2: Morning and Afternoon - Case studies, exercises, and role-play for TTO’s
*Conduct in-depth analysis and discussion of licensing and startup cases
*Conduct role-play for negotiations
*Roundtable wrap-up session and key take-aways
