David Resende

University of Aveiro – David N. Resende is researcher in GOVCOPP Research Unit and Assistant Professor of ESTGA-UA.

He is also the UATec (University of Aveiro TTO) “pivot” in his research unit.

David holds a PhD in Management of Innovation and Technology.

His experience in enterprise management and the coordination and management of people have given him the knowledge to look at the Regional Innovation Systems as the best way to improve the life quality and jobs of the people in their regions.

Because of this, he went in that system in 1999 and nowadays he is in the academy as a researcher.

His technical skills and capabilities in management and engineering are as follows:

• Entrepreneurism and Start-up and Spin-off Managing;
• Marketing research and analysis;
• Business Plans and Innovation and Technology Management;
• UML Modeling language;
• Programing language - C#.net, VB.net, C, Pascal, Assembly;

• CISCO Certified NetAcademy (CCNA).
