Professional Experience- Mrs. Mascarenhas was for four (4) years a researcher at the Chemistry Department of Azores University.

As a researcher she filed five (5) patents, four (4) from them are already granted.

After this research time she began to work in the PI Office at Azores University. As
Coordinator of the University of the Azores PI Office, was responsible for implementing the project and its dissemination to the scientific community and the general population, thus coresponsible
for the success that the protection of industrial property has been known in the
Azores. It was also responsible for financial management of that project.

In 2007 she joined the team GAPI-OTIC, at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, participating in technology transfer of university.

Education- Mrs. Mascarenhas holds a degree in Biology and a Master in Chemistry (Chemistry of Natural Products).

She as also attended several course in industrial property, particularly in distinguishing signs of Commerce, Designs, Patents and utility models, pre-diagnosis in IP.

Personal Interest- Reading, gardening, music.
