UTEN Portugal opened the 2010 training program with the 1st UTEN Training Week, 25-29 January 2010, with the theme “Capital Sourcing”.

The regional workshops took place at the following venues:

25-26 January - Lisbon, ISCTE

28-29 January - Porto, FEUP

The regional workshops addressed:

  • Day 1: comparison between Portuguese and US investment philosophies with a panel of Portuguese and Austin investors; and, an overview of “equity agreements” (acordos parassociais);
  • Day 2: introduction and case studies on investment term sheets.
